Our fabulous Eco Yoga Mats! S$60
Eco-friendly mats tend to be more expensive than conventional mats. But we think they are worth the extra money, both for the environment’s sake and for one’s own health. It’s probably not a great idea to be breathing carcinogenic fumes off plastic mats whilst deep breathing, its also not very zen of us to add to the landfill with PVC which does not degrade!
The new Bodhi eco yoga mat Lotus Pro is made from a recently developed and patented TPE (Thermal Plastic Elastomer) foam. The mats contain no latex, PVC or rubber. The production as well as the material is eco friendly.
It feels great, is odor free and provides superb traction and grip. The closed cell construction of these mats prevents absorption of fluids, making it easy to keep clean. Eco yoga mats are recommended for relaxing yoga and gentle movements – we do not recommend this mat for strong yoga styles like Astanga or Power-yoga – since the TPE material is more delicate then PVC. Please be aware TPE yoga mats will lose traction and grip performance when wet or accumulating sweat and will degrade quicker than PVC mats due to its bio-degradable nature.

Portable Reiki Healing Beds, S$210
We searched high and low for a foldable healing bed suitable for Reiki. That means minimal fuss and boards below the bed so that we can sit comfortably and tuck our legs freely under the bed without being tangled in wires, obstructed by headboards or having to lean uncomfortably over wide beds. We ended up importing the beds from China so they are fairly cheap and cheerful, but definitely do the job!
The bed is foldable for storage, but it is quite heavy and not ideal if you are on the road a lot, but perfect for home or office use if you need to pack it down for storage. We use these at the Reiki Centre for Reiki energy healing and workshops, they pack away very neatly
