What is Jin Shin Jyutsu ® ?
Jin Shin Jyutsu ® Physio-Philosophy (JSJ) is a non intrusive, gentle yet very powerful energy balancing system which works on the levels of body, mind and spirit. It helps the body to return to harmonious state and is helpful in relieving physical and emotional conditions. In essence, JSJ helps bring us back to our true selves.
JSJ balances the lifeforce energy (chi, prana, ki) in the body. Our bodies contain several energy pathways that feed life into all of our cells. When our lifeforce energy is flowing abundantly we experience health and wellbeing. Conversely when one or more of these paths become blocked, we may experience discomfort, pain or dis-ease.
JSJ is applied, in a manner which is similar to acupressure, by placing the hands on various points in the body to unblock the energy pathways. The fact that it can be applied in a self help capacity is one of the great advantages of JSJ – thereby allowing people to take a more active role in maintaining their own health and happiness.

You will learn how to apply JSJ self help to address a variety of physical, mental and emotional issues including lack of vitality, stress, immunity..and everyday concerns such as fevers, colds and nausea.
And although this is a SELF HELP* workshop, you will leave with a toolbox of healing techniques you can use not only for yourself, but for your family and friends.
*This workshop is based on Mary Burmeisters’ JSJ Self Help Books I and II. It is equally suitable for beginners and experienced Energy Practitioners.
About Julie Ann
JULIE ANN is Singapore-based Energy Healing Practitioner and Spiritual Teacher. In her practice, INTU, she works primarily with the modality of Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ), and teaches meditation and manifestation (law of attraction) techniques.
Julie is passionate about helping others connect with their own inner guidance systems and innate healing abilities. At this incredible time on the planet it’s more important than ever to take responsibility for our own healing and growth… and Julie’s aim is to share tools and knowledge that empower individuals to be in the drivers’ seat of their own life journey. She is excited to share her own experiences with you and to and learn about yours.
Julie has facilitated workshops in Singapore, Malaysia, China, The Philippines and Australia and is thrilled to have the opportunity to offer JSJ Self Help at the Reiki Centre. As well as being accredited in several healing arts she has a Masters of Applied Science in Artificial Intelligence and has taught at RMIT University in Melbourne.

Introduction
Master’s training is an enormous personal commitment, both in terms of the actual deepening of your knowledge of Reiki, but also as a pathway to personal growth. Most people find Master’s training immensely rewarding but few complete the training without facing some challenges. You need to be prepared to be open minded, committed, and willing to spend the time required for your growth. Reiki Master training is open to students who have done Reiki Level 2 with me at least four months prior.
The training is divided into four core modules comprising of workshops and homework assignments. Students can take any number of courses and take their time to complete each level before moving on to the next, or the entire four modules can be taken in succession, which leads to a Master’s certificate. ALL four modules need to be complete in order to receive your Master’s certificate. Each Module may be paid for adhoc at $780 per Module, or as a total package at $2,800.

Aims
This training is specifically designed to help you be a competent Reiki Master and is focused on Reiki knowledge, deep personal understanding, presentation skills, and marketing skills as outlined below:
1. Reiki knowledge – each module covers different topics normally covered in a Reiki 1 and 2 class and are designed to encourage you to research and formulate your teaching material.
2. Personal understanding – I expect you to find your own ‘Reiki’ point of view and will often push, prod and ask difficult questions. Your understanding or philosophy on Reiki does not have to be the same as mine, but it needs to be plausible, coherent and clear.
3. Presentation skills – meeting in a group allows you to hone your presentation skills and get used to presenting the material standing up and to an audience. A good presentation presence is critical in attracting your audience.
4. Marketing skills – once you complete your training you will be independent and will need to develop your marketing materials and strategy. Much of developing as a Master is trial and error, but certain key tips will hopefully shortcut the process for you.
The Modules
Each module focuses on a different area of Master training, summarized below.
1. Module 1: Personal Growth, this module focuses on the Master’s symbol and the heart attunement and is a two day workshop. The Master’s symbol is also known as the symbol for transformation and is a very powerful tool for personal growth. As well as preparing you for the rest of the training, this module works on raising your energy vibration, understanding your own power through developing your intuition, as well as becoming familiar with the attunement process and how to best utilize the Master’s symbol. This is an ideal stand-alone module for those wishing to advance their Reiki learning but who are not planning to teach Reiki at this point. Upon completion, students will be given a Reiki Level 3 certificate which signifies their ability to give a Heart attunement.
2. Module 2: Reiki Level 1. This module focuses on the Level 1 class and how to teach it. This is a two day workshop and teaches the final level 1 attunements. We also explore more deeply the Chakras and holistic healing viewpoints. Homework includes presentation skills and you are encouraged to begin teaching friends and family to get experience and feedback.
3. Module 3: Reiki Level 2. This module focuses on the Level 2 class and how to teach it. This is a two day workshop and teaches the level 2 attunement. We also explore more deeply the many tools and how to teach the symbols effectively. After this module you are encouraged to begin teaching friends and family to get experience and feedback.
4. Module 4: Building your practice. This module completes your training with the final Master’s initiation ceremony and also focuses on building a Reiki practice as well as higher level techniques to develop your energy and raise your vibration. To be effective as a teacher you must be able to attract students and this takes both business acumen and personal attraction. This is a two day workshop primarily designed to stretch you both energetically and creatively.
Homework
Each module has homework attached and moving forwards to the next module is on condition that the homework has been completed. There is minimum time of 2 months between each module. In order to complete the required homework, you need to be committed to spending at least 2-3 hours per week on your training in between workshops. Homework will include a mixture of research, preparing talks, treating and attuning others and personal growth journaling and self-healing.
As part of the training (and not included in the workshop fee) you need to complete a minimum one day Byron Katie training either with myself or any other Byron Katie teacher. You are also encouraged to meet with your fellow students in between Modules to exchange attunements and support one another during your journey.

“MUNAY” comes from the Quechua word that means “I love you” . “KI‟ is life force. The Munay-Ki are the Nine Rites of the Shaman’s Path of the Q’ero Nation, the descendants of the Inca, the indigenous people of the holy mountains of the Andes in Peru.
This weekend focuses on receiving the Ancient Inca Initiation Munay-Ki Rites (sacred Rites from the descendents of the Inca Nations) from Victoria. These powerful Rites, (a series of 9 Rites spread over 3 days) are given as the next step in the evolution of humanity – to realign and attune our neuro pathways and shift human consciousness into its ‘new form’.
To deepen the attunement and assist integration, Victoria will include meditation and other processes throughout the weekend. Powerful transformations and healings are possible, to open your energies and accelerate your evolution.
Workshop Program
Registration will start from 9.30am Friday, with the Opening Circle at 10.15am. This is followed by the first Meditation and the first three Munay-Ki Rites.
Saturday morning will start with a Meditation and the next three Munay-Ki Rites. The day will include activities to deepen these Rites, as well as time to learn, by giving the Rites to each other.
Sunday begins with a ’Greeting to the Sun’, followed by the final Meditation and the last three Munay-Ki Rites and training. The day will conclude at 4pm (or earlier if we have an early start) with a drumming circle.
This workshop is aimed at teaching the participants to a proficient level to enable you to teach and confidently pass on the Rites to others and continue this Sacred legacy.
As you experience these Rites, you will feel a deeper awareness of your own spiritual energies, transcending all time and space, to connect back and remember ancient memories.

One of the more surprising aspects of the Reiki Survey was the significant improvement in benefits perceived by the higher levels of training. This was something I was not expecting when I ran the report though with reflection it certainly makes sense. Level 2 is a quantum leap in many ways as it takes self-healing to a higher and more deliberate level. At the most basic level with Reiki we are simply acting as funnels, or to use a football analogy, we are simply spectators. Reiki flows through our hands into our cells and at that cellular level, we heal. Of course to see significant change we are also responsible in making changes happen, but essentially, when it comes to the Reiki, we are not in charge and we have no say in what areas are healed, at what rate, and with what priority.
Level 2 takes the healing into our own hands (pun intended!) by putting us squarely on the pitch. Instead of spectators we become players. We learn how to manipulate the energy and transform it into specific form. I.e. we learn how to turn the potential of Reiki energy into energy with a specific purpose. We can decide ourselves which areas of our lives we want to direct more healing, be it physical, mental, emotional, or to a specific event or trauma. We become more self-directing and deliberate in our healing journey and so on many levels this advanced training takes us much further, quicker.
Reiki Level 2 should be taken some time after Level 1. In my teaching tradition, a two month wait is stipulated, this period of time is an important opportunity to practice Reiki and ensure your energy is high. It is also an important time for self-healing to ensure you are ready to use the tools wisely. As we become players, we can choose our healing strategy, our ego minds can take control again, and if we are not more awake and aware, we can actually end up damaging our growth rather than aiding it. Also, unlike Level 1, the progressive Levels require the use of mental energy and as a result can be draining for those who have not been using their Reiki for self-healing.
As with the Level 1 training, there is an enormous discrepancy in the way the classes are taught. I frequently get calls from Level 2 practitioners who have little knowledge of the tools at their disposal. Having been taught nothing, they end up with nothing. This level should be full of possibilities and magic, I am hard pushed to cram all the information and tips into 10 hours of teaching and would seriously question a class of less than 6 hours of teaching time. Many classes seem to focus o the distance healing aspect of Reiki Level 2, but this is only one of many, many tools available at this level.
For those practitioners interested in taking Reiki to therapy level, the Level 2 training is possibly the minimum standard recommended before professionally treating others. For other people who enjoy Level 1, there is no need to go further with training, but the research does suggest each stage of training brings even more benefits.

Kundalini Reiki is a new form of reiki that originates from Ole Gabrielsen, a Danish healer and meditation Master. Like Usui Reiki, it is not a belief system or philosophy; it is based on universal energy and is activated through the Master to the student simply through transference. This form of Reiki does not require symbols and as such is a much faster and simpler form of Reiki to learn.
No prior Reiki knowledge is required to do this course.

During the Workshop, only one attunement is required to activate the participants to Kundalini Reiki. The treatments are very quick, just 5 minutes in duration which means a great deal of ground can be covered during the day. This is a fast paced workshop and we will learn the following:
Students learn how to:
- Give a Reiki energy treatment to themselves
- Give a Reiki treatment to others, and other living things
- Give distance healing to others, and other living things
- Clear space (offices, home, workshop rooms etc) to provide more balanced energies
- Clear past blockages such as situations, uncomfortable relationship ties, past trauma etc.
The attunement and meditations are extremely calming and healing so the day itself is a wonderful healing experience and opportunity to de-stress, have fun and learn a fantastic tool for life!
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel to lie on. It is recommended that no alcohol is taken 48 hours prior to the course.

Reiki Level 2 is taken at least 2 months after Level 1. This period of time is an important opportunity to practice Reiki and ensure your energy is high. Unlike Usui Level 1, the progressive workshops require the use of mental energy and as a result can be draining for those who have not been using their Reiki for self-healing.
During the Level 2 Workshop, a second degree attunement is given and 3 symbols are taught. The practitioner is able to use the tools to enhance their Reiki flow, and to develop alternative uses of the Reiki energy.
- The Empowerment symbol – increases Reiki flow as though ‘funnelling’ the energy to maximise flow rate and power. Also empowers other energy fields.
- The Harmony symbol – allows Reiki to be ‘wrapped’ around other energy fields and environments to increase harmony eg. harmonising homes, other people, incidents, for improved energy vibrations. The symbol is also used to increase communicative powers, and intuition.
- The Sending symbol – like an IDD number, this symbol allows Reiki to be sent to different energy fields whether they be other locations (both geographical or time), other energy incidents, internal blocks or emotional energy systems etc. This is a very powerful source of personal growth as the practitioner can directly tune into issues and fix them on the casual plane.

Giving your children the gift of Reiki is really a life long gift of healing and self-responsibility. I was strangely blessed when my eldest daughter, Ella, was born with Reiki – I guess all those attunements I did when I was pregnant, she obviously decided she’d have some of it too! Ella has always had a very strong immune system (I can’t remember the last day off she had sick), and she is immediate in her requests for Reiki. She can be seen reikiing friends at school, and she knows that if something hurts, there is a quick way to remedy it. She is very good at self-calming and even realised, at the tender age of 6, that when she gets angry her body responds physically (she gets a very itchy nose and eyes), she says she is ‘allergic to anger’ which I think is truer of many of us then we’d like to admit! I am amazed at her self-awareness at such a young age and I am sure much of it is due to the Reiki she has been using on herself and others since birth.
A Children’s Reiki course is a one day workshop with more focus on play then lecturing. The time is given to allow each of the four attunements time to settle and the rest of the day is given to ‘reiki’ play, games, interactive reiki sessions, arts and craft and outside time to go reiki trees and run off steam. It is a very informal and a very pleasant day for all.
Children can be any age under 12 (12 and above can attend the adult class) but I ask a caretaker to attend if the child is under 5. The prerequisite is that the child wants it themselves, and that one of the parents/ caregivers already has Reiki so that there is home support available.
The investment is $180 and includes snacks & materials, the teaching hours is from 1pm-5.30pm.

Reiki 1 is the foundation course for activating the Reiki flow in your hands. This course is ideal for anyone wanting to increase their vitality and energy and reduce stress. Reiki is so easy to use that it is ideal for lay people who are not familiar with natural health and methods of healing as it provides an excellent foundation for exploring other types of modalities. The weekend is very experiential with exercises, practice and sharing of techniques and ideas.
At the Reiki Centre we teach the traditional Usui method which requires no belief, religious bias or spiritual background. Our approach is grounded and thorough and there is plenty of time to ask questions and explore Reiki for yourself.
During the Workshops we will explore the Reiki phenomenon and energy, healing, disease, and our internal energy systems. The Workshop also has plenty of interactive sessions to practice giving Reiki treatments to get you comfortable with your new found skill.

This course will help you access your intuition in a fun and interactive way through the building of an ‘imagination workshop’ in your mind. Its a very easy process but will yield surprising results!
In this class you will build your ‘Imagination workshop’ and gain access to inner wisdom and information.
