This workshop is specifically designed for those who have completed Karen’s Intuition Workshop.  It is designed for those who do Reiki healing or wish to develop their healing and intuitive skills further.  By using the Intuitive workshop you can further develop your diagnostic skills as well as your intuitive healing abilities to give clients a more rounded and in-depth treatment.

The workshop complements Karen’s Intuition Workshop and develops the following concepts to an advanced level:

• distance diagnosis and healing
• connecting with your client’s highest self and getting appropriate information
• connecting with your healing guides and how to use them
• listening to your intuition

The session is very interactive with plenty of time for questions and personal exploration of your skills.  If you found the intuitive workshop useful then you can also be very successful in developing you healing guides and intuitive healing skills.  This is not a beginners class, a developed intuitive sense through Reiki or other forms of energy healing are assumed.  This workshop is for practicing healers.

Developed in the 1980’s by German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger, a Constellation is like a ‘knowing field’ in which hidden dynamics are able to be uncovered and new paths to resolution can appear.

Distance Reiki is no more ridiculous then the idea of you reading this post right now – probably via wireless internet.  Reiki sent through the aether can be as, if not more, effective than Reiki done face to face.  It affects many levels of healing and often works at the root cause of illness or trauma creating more dramatic long term shifts and changes.  Taking the leap to learning Reiki level 2 is obviously the best way to experiment and see for yourself, but asking someone else to send you distance healing can also be an interesting way to experience a deeper level of healing.  It can often be very subtle.  Unlike hands on healing where it is common to feel sensations of heat or tingling, distance healing often produces very subtle sensations such as calmness, vibrations, increased peace and often more vivid dreams or sudden awarenesses.

We recommend distance healing for deep seated problems or issues, emotional trauma and stuck beliefs that you want to shift.  At the Reiki Centre we provide a package of three daily distance healing sessions (lasting 15 minutes each session) for $120.

Reiki compliments, it doesn’t replace, medical practice.  Of course over my years working with Reiki I have found I need less and less visits to the Doctor and I believe this is due to the fact that Reiki works as an amazing balancing factor in the body.  In being balanced, the body is much clearer in its signals, and I am much more aware of what my body needs – so it breaks down less and less.

Why do we get sick?  Every specialist will have their own theory on this.  If you talk to a nutritionist, they will tell you your diet is lacking some nutrient; if you chat to a chiropractor, they will tell you your spinal alignment is creating issues; your energy healer will tell you your Chakra’s are blocked; your Feng Shui Master will tell you the health quadrant in your home needs fixing; your doctor will give you the reason why biochemically things are malfunctioning….etc etc.  Each one of them may be partially or fully correct, so how do you know what to do?

If you rely on outside ‘experts’ then of course you will be running around in circles.  How can any outside expert know your body better than you?  The sad fact is that most of us actually think this insane belief to be true – so we rush out and consult with all manner of ‘experts’ trying to find the reason for our illness, and trying to weigh up what to do – without ever consulting the real expert: ourselves.  For many of us, it is with good reason – we have no clue how to consult with our inner wisdom!  We are so out of balance, so external focused, so out of touch with our own bodies, that we have no idea what is going on inside – we live in our bodies but we have never ever been within, we spend every second of every day in our bodies, yet we don’t know what the heck is going on…insane!

Get in touch with yourself, your body, your pulse again and all the doubts, the indecision, and the fear will disappear.  Get to know yourself, and you will know what to do – which medicine to take, when to get a second opinion, when to go to the Doctor,  when to go to the Nutritionist, and when to simply go to bed with a good book.  It becomes easy, fearless, honest.  It doesn’t mean you never go to the Doctor again.  Thinking you don’t need a Doctor is as insane as thinking you need a Doctor.  Doctors, Nutritionists, Chiropractors, Energy healers…we are all tools to help you to heal, to help you to cure.  Use us, of course, but keep your inner power, your inner knowledge and never give that away to some outside ‘expert’.  Provide your own counsel, but make sure you know yourself first or your inner counsel will be flawed, filled with fear and erroneous beliefs (like: I don’t need a Doctor!  I don’t need surgery!  I can heal myself!).  Yes, sometimes you can, and sometimes you can’t.  Make sure you have the wisdom to tell the difference.

This wisdom comes with balance, and balance comes from inner awareness.  Reiki is one of many pathways to inner awareness – in my search for balance, I have found it the easiest.  It requires little effort, exercise, or change in lifestyle.  It works for anyone over time, and I have found it such an easy self-help tool that for me, it has become my foundational tool.

When I do my Reiki self-treatments I find myself becoming calmer, more at peace and as the stress melts away, I become clearer.  with clarity comes all kinds of information, wisdom and inner knowledge.  Its sometimes as simple as getting still, and listening.  In this age of constant noise, getting still is quite a challenge, and that is why therapies like Reiki become so important.  Reiki cannot cure you of anything, only you can do that.  But Reiki can provide the quiet for you to be able to listen to yourself, and make the right decisions for your own health.  And yes, that may be as simple as – do your Reiki – and your body will do the rest.

Just like in traditional psychotherapy, when traumas are remembered, symptoms are alleviated.  The remembering of “just short moments of previous lives” is often enough to give the person insight into his or her present life and to open that person’s mind to the possibility of soul survival, reincarnation, etc.  In general, people get what they are ready to change during the session, how large or deep a shift is really up to how open and willing you are to let go – sometimes several sessions are required to affect long-term or dramatic shifts.

Many people are able to be hypnotized easily and deeply the first time they try hypnosis.  Some need more experience and practice.  Unfortunately there is a percentage of the population (up to 15%) that can’t be hypnotized at all.  Sometimes non-hypnotic techniques help those people to retrieve memories, and in other cases the session may not provide much relief, unfortunately we cannot predict before a session how successful you will be in retrieving a past life memory.
